I always gwt nosebleed tickets for hockey games, for reasons you mentioned. Sat right behind the glass twice and hated it. Couldnt even see all of tge ice.
Newsy survives another day, unfortunately. I really do hate to see the wings lose, but if that’s what it takes to get rid of him, I would have them lose every game until he’s gone. I will say it’s always good to beat the leafs though lol
Jeff Petry is a great leader and a local guy. I would extend him for 5 more years.
Top pair D time on ice leading the NHL sounds great, but it speaks more to the rest of the D! That stat is based on necessity. I'm glad they are handling their time well because if we didn't have them, we would be in trouble.

Ol man Petry with the 2 bomb! Gonna have to have defense jump in the play if we want to win games, since the forwards don’t know how to score goals. Kane looked pretty Kane like this game, I hope he can keep it up. Always love beating the Leafs, being a Wings and Cats fan. Go Wings!

Anyone else remember the Upper Balcony at the Olympia Stadium on Grand River? A great place to really learn hockey. Stroh's beer helped sooth the despair after expansion.

If there has been anything that I have liked about Petry's game it's that he is not afraid to just put the puck on net. Defensively he is a liability, but on the point he has pretty good instincts for when to take a shot.
The what would be the hockey opener line got me.. changing goalies every period to keep the opponent on their toes lol
