Yes it was a close game vs the sharks but they were on a 3 game win streak. Beating LA and Utah who aren’t slouch teams either
Even elite teams have games like this where they make a bottom feeder look good. At least they won. I remember when Detroit had those great seasons, they’d always have a couple of games where they’d lose to a really bad team and it wouldn’t be close. They even lost in the playoffs to the Sharks…when the Sharks were as bad as they are now. The Canucks had a thing with slow starts in the early 90s and regularly got behind bad teams 2-0 before waking up. This is not unprecedented.
to have Shark wide open in front of net with 2 seconds left speaks VOLUMES how this team is completely out to lunch with their desire to win and defensive mindset…..
don't let the W fool you ..this team has major issues
Omg these commentors are nuts. The Sharks arent the worst team in the league anymore.
I have to give Blackwood his props he's a solid goalie. Definitely this was a trap game good thing the Nucks didn't fall through it.
The Canucks*
As a Sharks fan I'm just glad we only allowed three goals this time
Blackwood was the difference in the first period I agree…
Man, our fans are negative haters
Canucks played much better than they did against the Hurricanes and Devils. The Sharks this year have a much more experience d core and Blackwood played well and kept the Sharks in the game. The thing I didn't like about the Canucks' game were the amount of odd man rushes that were given up, but Lankinen has bailed out the team like Demko has been doing in previous years. The bounces just aren't going the same way as they did last year early in the season, so the results don't jump out as much. The team has an overall record of 5-2-3, not having played their best. No need to overreact (yet)!
I don’t care what anyone says, Bains as a top 6 is the definition of what’s wrong with this team
What if? Things don't go well this year. I would look to trading Elias to Anaheim for Mctavish, 1st rounder 2025 and a 1st in 2026.
Sharks impressed me but man we gave up too many odd man rushes
Garland is the Nucks MVP.
What was Myers doing on that 2nd Sharks goal? Was he trying to pick up a Sharks player? Flashing his booty to block his goalies view? What a terrible attempt to block a shot.
The Myers 🤦🏻 streak continues. 🤨
Canucks will beat the ducks 6 to 2.
Snuck by the 🦈. GG’s boys. Now we have duck soup inna couple of days 🦆🚫🦆🚫🦆🚫
All Canucks goals were scored from the same spot on the ice ..
Ga fewest and GF fewest. Vegas with 55 GF 😅
Sharks uniforms only look good with black pants. This greenish colour they're rocking wouldn't be as gross with some black pieces in the outfit!
Pius the juice
Let’s just hope this is the end of people saying “Canucks are good” … it’s like saying all 32 teams are “good” when only one team can take the championship… if you want me to say it… “Canucks are average” also sharks should of got a shut out in this game
I've had it with Myers
