  1. Ite true with Jones. If/when they make the playoffs and everyone is holding their breath hoping that ur tendy comes up mammoth big with the goods, you want him to make the save ~9/10 times. This example is personified in the playoffs

  2. If LA Kings and/or Anahiem Ducks get better, look out. Arizona Coyotes got better despite getting ignored so you never know. Vegas Golden Knights have a reputation now, in 2017, everybody was laughing at Vegas. ITS WHAT THE OTHER TEAMS DO! Its still not October yet.

  3. These guys need to do a little more research on our farm system. Chekhovich, Chmelevski, and True all are more likely to crack the lineup over someone like Suomela.

  4. Stop with all the crying for the Vegas lights they lost fair and square! Enough with all the crying get over it GO SHARKS!,

  5. Martin Jones is still an above average goalie. He just had terrible Team D in front of him at times last year, hence why Joakim Ryan and Justin Braun are gone. They could not get the job done when two of Simek, Burns, EK65, or Vlasic were hurt. In the playoffs, Jones was just fine when he had a mostly healthy Defense sans Game 2 against Vegas (With no more than one of the Top 4 D-men mentioned above being out). From Game 5 against Vegas with Vlasic's return until EK65's injury against the Blues at the end of Game 4, Jones did his job extremely well. He will be that goalie as long as the D stays healthy and the depth beyond the Top 6 improves.

Side note: If the Sharks trade for a Top 6 Right Winger (Kapanen, Nylander) from the Leafs for Dell, Melker, a high draft pick and something else if necessary….this team should be seen as an even better Cup Contender than in 2019. Why the Leafs? They may be cap strapped if they have to pay Mitch Marner $13M+. Jumbo hasn't signed yet because DW thinks he can get a Top 6 winger, and Jumbo will always take what's left since he's such a team player. He taught Labanc well with Banker being just as selfless. Is it October yet?

  6. take back thornton and marleau, sign laine to a 1 year deal and let him prove himself to be a consistent goal scorer that's what they need

  7. Melkor Karlsson is not playing on the 2nd freaking line. You guys clearly don’t pay attention to SJ at all with some of the prospects that are knocking on the door for this club. Checkhovich/Chmelevski
