The issue I see with Bouch is he doesn’t really seem to learn from his mistakes. Sometimes it’s as if he forgets what he’s learned altogether. How is a guy supposed to improve when he keeps coming up with a new mistake to make every few games?
Bouchard is an elite player who made a few mistakes. I love all these no-talents saying he isn't worth the money. It must be boring watching hockey and not having a clue about the game. Some fans are so stupid!
You’re terrible Unbelievable, man….The Oilers totally outplayed the Panthers tonight, but of course, the refs were totally biased, calling all the soft penalties against us. You could see it…every time we had a chance to break through, some random non-call or weak penalty screws us over. It’s ridiculous. If the Oilers didn’t have to play against the refs AND the Panthers, we would’ve crushed them. Florida’s nothing compared to us anyway. Let’s be real, we should’ve won the Cup last year.. but injuries, bad luck, and, yeah, some bad officiating kept us from lifting it. But this year? It’s OUR year. We have the most firepower in the league, and everyone knows it.
And don't even get me started on Calgary losing to Florida too. Can you imagine? They couldn’t even hang with the Panthers, and they still think they’re contenders. Meanwhile, the Oilers are built for greatness. You know the Panthers can’t keep up with McDavid and Draisaitl, so don’t even act like this game means anything. We’re just biding our time until the playoffs, where we’ll show everyone who the real powerhouse is. Florida's just lucky tonight.
Falling at the blue line was tough but understandable. Everyone loses an edge or toe picks from time to time and while it sucks it happens. But I do not know what the hell Bouch was doing after he got up. He started skating after Boqvist and then inexplicably decided to do some sort of weird diving hooking attempt and fell on his face again. 😕
Everyone missed it. We were alternating goalies, Pickard was supposed to play this game, Pickard is in the top 10 NHL goalies. But they play Skinner? Notice every time Skinner in net, Bouch has a bad game. Ture players know why. Stop favoring Skinner already, holy. Oil had this game, but Skinner…. Hyman is a warrior.
Everybody has a bad game, bouch will work through this. the panthers put alot of pressure on our d last night. we threw it away alot need to make a few better breakouts. the panthers got some bounces for sure but thier top 4 -dmen were the difference makers last night. but they also got away with alot. Sometimes you learn more from the losses then you do from the wins.
I think Bouch needs to get mean, forget about offensive plays for a minute and focus on your end, it’s kind of like in basketball when you let the game come to you instead of you trying to force it. Kids a beats we know it but to look like a rookie out there at this point of his career ? Man it’s tough.
Everybody has bad games but that’s totally fine! Bouch your amazing at defense and those bouch bombs and the oilers need you but everyone learns from their mistakes and your still an amazing player if anyone tells you otherwise.
