Kakko taco should have been traded 2-3 years ago. A complete bust! Borgen is a scrapper that’s will throws hands with anyone I like the trade
The only way this could help the team is to help the team chemistry because kakko was unhappy here. He was having arguably his best season so far and I could see him thrive into a legit 2 way scoring forward in Seattle.

This to me as mentioned on Big Apple Hockey was a trade just to get a clearly frustrated player out of the locker room. I fully expect Kakko to flourish out in Seattle what is going to be even more frustrating. The whole rebuild avenue will not happen. The Rangers just signed Igor to a massive 8year Full NMC contract. You think the Rangers would learn, but they don't. What does Drury have in mind now, you have an aging core who is not performing, you have a toxic locker room, you have a GM who seems not to be wanted according to reports. This whole situation is not on one person, but it does shed light on how misguided this organization is. You have numerous top draft picks that have not been developed (Lias Anderson, Kratsov, Kakko).. just to name a few. The core players don't have what it takes to win, because they have had multiple chances. 3 coaches in the past 5 or 6 years. A GM who seems to make poor decisions, a owner who is not patient and all he cares about is fans in the stands…. I mean, if you want to rip the whole team apart, Trade then go blow this thing all up. Your not winning with this group, so Trade Kreider, trade Mika if he will waive his NMC, trade Igor before his NMC kicks in, get high draft picks and rebuild the draft pick cupboard.
