@Canucks de Vancouver

1. The Canucks got 6 shots in the first period. Why do they always come out so flat? That is a coaching problem. Tyler Myers went with the wrong guy on the first Utah goal, the other defenseman had the puck carrier. His job was to pivot and go with the person who passed the puck.

  2. Isnt it Ironic…the State with the most unmarked license plates also has a hockey team with no name….should just call themselves the Utah Saints and be done with it.

  3. Can you fix the "be allowing" to just "allow" in your title bro? Reading it is kicking my 4 years of ESL in the nuts. Or just commit to it. "The NHL should never be allowing to have this to be happening…"

  4. Calling all 3 goals "luck" is weak. Guenther's was a bit flukey but the other two were skilled plays.

  5. You forgot to say how lucky we were to not be scored on early, you have a bad take sorry! From a nucks fan!

  6. Not much of a gambler me, but pretty sure it would not be difficult to create a formula taking into account the score, the time left in the game, and the number of powerplays both teams have had and come up with a game management penalty odds. Utah was down a goal in the third period and to that point had had two power plays to three for the Canucks. Anyone who has watched what they call "hockey" in the game management era knows that this makes the effective odds about 80-20 that Utah is getting the next powerplay and the only remaining issue is to find an excuse for doing so, even without Tim Peel confirming it into a hot mike. The only people who don't know how this meta-game works, it seems, are the players and coaches who fail to adjust for it. If Apple TV can post on the scorebug MLS in-game win/tie probabilities, surely hockey broadcasters can get together with the analytics people and come up with a GM-NPC stat (game management-next power-play chance; 100=home team for sure gets the next one, 0=visitors get it.) and put that on the scorebug during games so we can tune in and see the real picture.

  7. The Nucs are the most often damaged team by the referees in the entire league, simply…it happens too often, much more often than other teams.

  8. Refs hate the Canucks. Can you remember the last time the canucks we given more power play opportunities than an opponent in a game? I wish those stats were readily available.

  9. Listen to your language, petterson can’t find the net, but jt puts it off of the side of the net. Constant negative slant on petterson, and ‘unfortunate’ closeness for jt. Also, look back and start exposing jt’s missed passes, turn overs, and whiffed pickups. You have to hear yourselves.

  10. The team has weathered through major loss of key players all season long. Demko JUST got back for the first time this season, and we are still waiting for Hronek to mend. it’s going to some time for the team to get fully connected.

    In the meantime I still love watching my Canucks.

  11. imagine being such a dumbass and a homer that you think sergachev and kellers goals were anything lucky LMAOOOO coppeeee yall REEEEKKKk

  12. also love how you CONVINIENTLY left out utah in your record screenshot even tho we are 2 points behind ur shit ass canucks LMAO

  13. It is time to stop the Petterson fan boys. Guy is worth 4 mill tops and that is being generous. No explosiveness and athletic performance is brutal. These fanboys making excuses for guys making 16,700,810.00 CAD/Year. Guys in my beer league would out skate him. Take less of a contract if you don't want to be watched like a hawk every night. The room temp IQ of the fanboys is concerning and they are in denial. The management is also insane for seeing this type of value in this player taking a huge cap hit for the team. You are only as good as your last game (how about the last 50?). A player with this type of value needs to be a difference maker every night in some way.

  14. I think whenever play is whistled down for a penalty call, that play should be reviewed briefly to decide if it is actually a penalty. I know this would take time. But it would stop this bs

  15. Utah had business to win this game to get in playoffs and get in the playoff spot. And also higher spot in standings
