  1. Do we remember a guy name Mat Sundin? I mean Owen N had a good career and I am not saying EP will turn into Mat Sundin caliber but he has already won Calder. Having said that, EP is not in sync with the team's direction of plays, EP fits better with Brock then Garland, and as long as JT M is on the first line with Brock, doubt EP will can return to the form. Remember Hocket is a team sports and he needs players that he can create chemistry with, JT M is not one of them.

  2. We are known for riots pretty soon. We're gonna be known as the fans that wouldn't let Elliotte Friedman leave Vancouver with some hockey injuries. 😂

  3. People seriously thinking Petey for Byram & Cozens is anywhere close to fair trade for the Canucks are drunk, Elliotte included.

  4. Oh wow Don Taylor I haven't seen that guy in like 15 years when he used to do highlight packages for Sportsnet

  5. The Sabres remind me of the Sens. There's so much young talent but for whatever reason they just can't put it together year after year…

  6. Does Elliot do hits on every Canadian hockey markets radio? he does 2 shows in vancouver alone. ntm Marek's pod and the national stuff

  7. Management need to separate themselves from the players who they would like to have from the players who we should have…period.

  8. There is a mileswide difference between a goon attitude player that fits in Boston or perhaps Florida and Elias Pettersson who will be a superstar either in Vancouver or elsewhere.

JT Miller is PRIME secondliner and Boeser as well.

Miller needs a big punch in the face.

  9. This nobody, Friedman first comb your hair and shave then put your mug on camera. This guy is a tree hugger………anti-fighting. If he had any say the NHL would be noncontact and players playing in bubbles…….I mean look at him.

  10. Let's talk the elephant in room. The Canucks are missing something alright. Miller standing up for Hughes? Brilliant, risking injury and serving a penalty. Great. We need a nuclear option. Boston dominated us, and so will every other contender until we have the muscle to stand up to them. Making a cheap shost on our stars an oddity and allowing our talented player the confidence a room to excel. Don't believe me? Look at the standings, history, and championship teams. MOST HAVE/HAD MUSCLE, we don't. Until we do, we will continue to struggle with mediocrity.

  11. This would be a losing trade for the Canucks. Right up there with Rick Vaive and Cam Neely. Pettersson has had some issues for sure. But he’s a superstar. Cozens is not. Here’s the easy test. When we all had our mock rosters for the 4 Nations you can’t tell me Cozens was on that list. If Petey ever moves it better be for a star of equal status. Byram is a great D. But his health is always going to be a concern. If he’s not a driver in Buffalo, he won’t be in Vancouver either. He’s middle pair at best.

  12. The last three years
Whichever team pulled a player out of Buffalo
    Won the Stanley Cup

  13. Problem is Petey is not a second line player. Can argue that the ice time is the same, relatively, but his line mates are not. Look at last night vs the avalanche, he created a few prime A scoring chances for his line mates but they couldn’t put it away. Petey is not the problem, also, throw in the fact that when miller is not here petey picks up the slack. There’s a locker room thing going on that none of us could ever understand. Miller gets more playing time with Hughes, he also has a bonafide 40 goal scorer on his line, consistently. Who does petty get to play with consistently? King of hard to build chemistry like that. Pettersson is better than a point per game his entire career, there’s more going on here.

  14. I call JT "The General" – check him out ahead of every faceoff directing traffic & giving orders – and everybody listens

  15. Hate to tell you so, but told you so. Miller is a cancer. Not a chance this guy should carry an "A". Guy's ego is way bigger than his talent. You can not win when the dressing room is in disarray.

  16. If I'm Alvin and Rutherford I'd never trade Petey, Willander or Lekkerimaki all 3 will be some of the best players in the whole league.
The much smarter move is to trade Boeser, Desharnais and a draft pick for Byram, Cousins… then instantly use Lekkerimaki in Boesers spot he's ready.

  17. One's too soft and is clearly thrown off his game far too easily, and the other is a bully and a hothead who will always find someone to unload his toxicity onto. They're both going to be inconsistent liabilities. Trade them both to open up massive cap space, and improve the locker room in the process to help the rest of the team get back into better, healthier mindsets. We're dealing with grown adult professionals who are getting paid millions. They can grow up and work it out, or the management can force them to work it out. Otherwise, the only remaining option is to trade both, silence the media circus, and get back to business. It's ridiculous to even be having conversations of this variety because of high school level drama between two of an NHL team's alleged adults, professional athletes and high paid world class hockey players representing a world class city and major hockey market.
