  1. So this guy thinks he's above being a healthy scratch? This league is crawling with Kakko's, the only difference, those players were picked further down in the draft and not at #2. He is average at best and in hindsight is a bust given where he was drafted. The expectations of some fans has really dropped when we are begging for this guy to be in the lineup. Ridiculous.

  2. Hmm. A threat like that who could thrive in the right environment. Definitely don't send him to Toronto, Montreal, Boston or even Buffalo. Preferrably send him out West where he will be less of a pain for you if he takes off. What is a west coast team who is hurting for healthy forwards, is still potentially a contender, but might be in a buying mood, has a drafted and developed talent well and could send some assets with big potential returns, and also would be on the hunt for a defensively responsible forward who might shore up some weaker goaltending (goaltending that might be so bad they replaced their starter and backup in an eight day period)? Certainly a highly touted prospect who has struggled to cement their place on a team isn't something Joe Sakic would be interested in. I mean, did it work out gambling on Val Nichushkin and Devon Toews (okay maybe a little bit of a stretch, but I am sure Isles fan might like to take that trade back)? Certainly the Avs couldn't be a potential trade target could they?

  3. Sorry about my dumb comment on a previous video I'm just upset the Rangers are playing so bad lmao

  4. Wow, the Rangers are in a mess. Look what's happening: a second-rounder and a season of discontent. And Ranger fans wonder why The Blueshirts haven't won a cup for thirty years. The Rangers need to coach up their blue-chip potentially star players. Pressures are present in playing in the Big Apple, and issues appear between the coach and G.M. To everyone @RangerNation, Merry Christmas🎅🏻 and the best of holidays❄. Always Let's Go Rangers🤘🏼!

  5. All those veterans that have played like crap all year arent getting scratched for one reason… You can't cast anything negative over the guys you want to trade. It degrades their value in the trade market. I have a feeling this is the reason why Kakko is getting scratched. Drury knows exactly what hes doing.

  6. Dach for Kakko trade
    A 2nd for a 3rd overall pick Habs throw in a 3rd

  7. Kakko is hurting his value by complaining frequently about his usage. I think his ice time is reflecting the coach's and GM's displeasure at his yapping.

  8. The rangers seem to have a similar problem as Winnipeg where for some reason the coach takes it out on the young guys who are doing fine as opposed to the vets who are struggling just because they’ve been around longer. Must be frustrating to watch.

  9. Kakko was drafted with the pressure of matching or being better than Jack Hughes who was drafted right in front of him.
I think what contributes to his fall out with the rangers and lack of patience with fans is seeing Hughes turn into a superstar right across the Hudson River

  10. Forwards I would scratch/trade before Kakko: Kreider, Zibanejad, Smith and the whole 4th line – Not because they play bad, just that Kakko is playing far better and is more important to the team.
The "first" line tho.. im just lost for words about how little they care about playing poorly.

  11. Being a hockey fan first and I wings fan second, I hope we can find a way to pick him up. He is a heads up passer with a good shot and despite youth and pressure hes improved. Hell yeah let the wings complete his development we need the spark he could provide.

  12. Personally, I wouldn't mind a trade for Kakko centered around Jaliyev for the Kings. Both guys need a change of seanory, and Kakko currently profiles as the depth two way forward the Kings could use. I could see him next to Byfield on a brushing scoring line or next to Danault to give more size to a great energy line. There's a lot of slots I could see him fitting well in. Maybe even a little time next to Kopitar could give him career rehabbing confidence, as ever Kings young guy sloted next to Kopitar has seen an offensive production boost. I'd love a larger trade including Fox, as well to shore up the defensive depth, as well. I think Doughty coming back will do that, anyways, but it never hurts to have multiple great defensemen.

  13. Most teams have their top rookie picks on 1st line and develop them with a lot of ice time, yeah the team loses but in a few years they become Allstars. The Rangers took the 2nd pick and the 1st pick in consecutive years and stuck the 2 on the bottom of the lineup and not giving them power play nor penalty-killing time.

  14. Damn 😂 being an underdog to Nashville is next level low! And they lost and got shutout lmao 🤣 The Rangers are down bad! I ain’t feeling sorry for em tho cause it’s forever: Let’s go Devils baby lol we’re never going to forget how much trash Rangers fans talked when they thought Kakko was better than Jack Hughes and said we’re going to regret not taking Kappo at #1 😂😂😂😂😂 Jack is a Superstar now and Kappo is a career bottom 6 guy! Imagine if the Rangers had Hughes instead of Kappo 🤔 they wouldn’t be this garbage currently

  15. Kakkc is a good player worth keeping. Maybe hes a bit light on offense but he makes up for it with outstanding defense at a +10. Compare that to the soft as feather Mika who is performing at a miserable -15. A Hartford player could do better that that but its costing the team $8.5 Million a year for his terrible performance. This is all Drurys fault for assembling a team of many figure skaters and few workers

  16. They have a sinking boat and they try to sandbag a contract year player. It's that simple. I would not blame him for speaking out.

  17. Issue was that they were a playoff team when picking him. Second, he should’ve played in the minors for at least most of his rookie season.

  18. Kakko never had a good season as a ranger. You can't allow a 1st rounder to do nothing for 6 years. Atleast we can get some type of value out of this trash winger. If anything management should be criticized for not getting rid of him sooner.

  19. Lightning fan here.. whenever our boys aren't playing well, Coop will bench the leaders.. Accountability runs downhill. Kaapo, as a scapegoat, is ridiculous.

  20. Kaapo might be under performing because of his new autoimmune diseases celiac disease and diabetes which take time to get on control because you have to find right balance what you can eat. Othervice you are sick all the time.
