Im pretty sure the best way to show you deserve more ice time is to stop playing like a 3 c . His play regressed consistently what did he have 5 even strength goals last year? Rangers need to stop with the no move clauses , these prima Donna's don't deserve that safety net.
We don't need an extra 2 or 3 minutes of being hemmed in our own zone. Why is he even complaining? Play better = Get more time

Mika has to go. This dude is trash. He’s horrible at 5 v 5, starting from last year he has been horrible in the regular, and he’s even worse in the playoffs. We not winning with him. Rangers please trade him

Gets paid like a 1c plays like a 3c. Only scores on the power play when he doesn't hook the one timer 10 feet over. Aggravating to watch him 5v5.
I love Mika but his overall play has started to decline since last season. The dude probably misses the net on half of his shots taken. I have no clue what caused this to start happening but it's a problem that has carried over into this season with Mika. He can be upset all he wants. The Vinny, Bread and Laffy line is the best Rangers line by far since last year and they deserved getting first line minutes.
Mika's line should get third line minutes move Chytl's line to second line minutes
Miller and Mika need to be benched. Until they can figure it out, if not hit the road.

Mika is and his whole line are playing like shit totally unnoticeable out there and he got the balls to complain about playing time.. rangers do me a favor get him a hair cut wash the eyeliner off face and trade him get someone he that can be more physical and that’s not afraid to shoot the puck

You’d think after the down year he had last year & the terrible playoffs he had the year before he’d come out looking to prove something but no instead he just complains about ice time. Not a team player anymore & very lazy on the back check

Sign Marner as soon as possible. That will unlock Mika. Trade Kako and Trouba or Trouba and Lindgren to make it happen. I love Troubs. I don't think his criticisms are entirely fair, but it's a cap space problem. Marner is 27. With him @ RW, we bring home the cup.

Speaking of ice time…..why is Miller averaging the most on the team? Turnovers, poke checks instead of body checks, getting beat on the outside consistently,…always chasing the puck carrier behind the net and being out of position………
Sorry Mika but you've been disappointing for 2 years. Pick it up or move on. We need a guy who doesnt need an extra 2/3 mins of a 60 min game to be impactful. Figure it out pal.

Mika is a very hockey player but the play in 2324 conference finals where Bennett literally manhandled him to take the puck for the empty net goal sealed his deal as soft and just not hungry enough. Is probably best to trade him

It's Mika. Mika's been the problem for years. He's not a bad center but never has been a #1. By proxy bc the rangers never went for another settled making 2c Mika the 1c and here we are
Zibanejad has been trending downward since before that terrible Devils playoff series. He had some fantastic seasons offensively, but his scoring started really feeding off bottom tiered teams and vanishing in tough, must win games. Up until this season he was still a fantastic shut down center, but he has looked slow and stiff in every game and has been a liability often. It's mostly mental. You can see it in the body language. He is having pucks bounce off his blade because he is too stiff, he is way out of position, and hardly in a scoring chance. One shot on goal per game, if that. He is signed until 2030. I don't see him lasting and his trade value is bottoming out. It will be a buyout for him.
Also, the narrative that Zibanejad was "complaining" is not fair and is deceptive. Larry Brooks brought it up first to the coach who dismissed it. Then HE asked Zibanejad about it and Zibanejad answered. That is not complaining, that is media drumming up a narrative.
