Les Sabres de Buffalo ont participé au match de ce soir sans victoire en 11 matchs. Lindy Ruff semble sans réponse pour son club et pourtant, ils ont atteint un autre plus bas ce soir. Non seulement ils ont accordé le premier but dès le premier tir du match, juste au moment où on pensait que cela ne pouvait pas être pire, mais même lorsqu’ils ont marqué, cela s’est transformé en une pénalité de 4 minutes. Menés 5-1 à un moment donné dans ce match, ils se sont ralliés pour faire un retour, puis ont vu UN AUTRE but annulé après un défi du gardien de but de Berube. Une autre soirée désastreuse à Buffalo signifie que le club est désormais sur un dérapage de 12 matchs. Un exploit impressionnant étant donné que cela représente plus de matchs qu’ils n’en ont gagné cette saison. I used to dislike the Sabers. They were such a thorn in the Flyers side at times. Now I just feel really bad for the Sabers fans and what they have had to endure. I hope they can get their shit back together so I can go back to disliking then. I also hope the Flyers can get their shit back together as well.

You have a bunch of kids surrounded by few veterans, the 1 constant in the Sabres drought is that during this span their team has always been the youngest. They need good veteran leaders not washed up players like Eric Johnson who is on their last legs. Get some Dmen who block shots, can actually play defense, clear the puck out immediately. Still need more big, physical forwards who are solid 2 way players.
