    I agree with Jesse we need to do a deep dive into the Pens Flyers rivalry. When the NHL is on a two week break due to the Four Nations Faceoff, maybe that could be some content?

    Speaking of the Devils … they've held the Rangers (who are a train wreck right now and healthy scratched Kreider today … that will fix everything) to 9 SOG through 2 periods this afternoon. They also haven't given up more than 20 SOG in like 8 games or something like that. They are just rolling right now.

    I agree completely, this rivalry doesn't have the same feel anymore that it used to. It's just another game like you said.

    In my lifetime, the early 2010s was the peak of the rivalry for me. That 2012 playoff series was intense. I wasn’t around for the 80s, which my dad told me there was an intensity added when the Penguins broke their 15 year losing streak in Philadelphia in 1989.

    Do you guys remember the April 2012 regular season game where Tony Granato and Peter Laviolette got into it after Blysma sent his fourth line out at the end of the game when Joe Vitale laid a clean check on Daniel Briere? I still remember that to this day.

    No shame in losing to devils. Best team in the metro imo. Yes. Pegula's name is on the Penn state ice hockey arena. Im a big Penn state football and ice hockey fan. It crazy that at 37 years old, crosby is still one of the best playmakers in the nhl today. He still makes those unbelievable and spectacular passes that only a handful of players can make in the present and the past of the nhl. I love when the broad street bullies lose.
