We need to get clarification on the skate blade rule. It's more inconsistent than instigators. There is NO WAY that should have been blown dead. We don't even get the play blown dead half the time when Gibbys mask is falling off his face.
A lot of poor accuracy shooting from the Ducks, on some really good scoring chances doomed them too. The Ducks should've scored a lot of goals with the chances they were given.
What is our success rate in these games that start at noon ?
Liking the on ice product right now. Good efforts and competitive hockey is nice to see.
Anaheim did good despite them losing
Kings struck real well with Portillo this game, plus Rookie Goalies are hard to read since you don't have anything to go off of. I am still so sure that if they played Rittich this game, the Ducks would have had a much better chance this game, just look at the shot differential. The only thing that hurt the Ducks was themselves.

The hopes of Terry being our next star goal scorer has passed. He got his money and has not been very good since. It is time to start calling out individual players and hold them accountable. Vatrano had a good season last year and now cant even score with half the net open. We should have traded him last year at the deadline when he was worth something. Ducks need to start focusing on hitting the net and taking shots when they have the opportunity. The team could learn a lot by watching Zellweger. He is not afraid to shoot. I want to see the Zegres from a few years ago. turn him loose, he has the talent to score. Let him be the flashy goal scorer he is capable of. This team is not going to turn the corner as long as Verbeek and Cronin are there.
We lost this game but at least we played better than our opponent. We just ran into a case of "that's just hockey". They could feel proud of a good effort which is a much needed improvement from the start of the season.

It was entertaining and when I know that they are trying to make it a game I will be happy which I was they were playing really good and only a little of mistakes.
The Ducks vs Kings is not the same. However, the Kings have owned us for the past 12 games which is so depressing. I don’t know why we didn’t shot from everywhere with this goalie. He left tons of rebounds. All we needed is someone crashing the net to knock one in. We had our chances and I’m really upset with Terry. He had a couple of opportunities to shoot but didn’t and when he did, not much on it. Towards the end I thought he had what looked like an easy backhand if he elevated the puck, but nope…nothing. Another loss to the Kings…sorry Queens. Really sucks! Hope we get our power play going before mid season. A lot of missed opportunities…go Ducks 😕

The ducks played decent even though they didn't score as many as they could have and the kings fans in my section weren't annoying so was a tolerable loss lol
The thing is the Kings played a C- game and still won. They just came off a decisive win over the Jets, played less then half as good and still won. Its not that this is kings style of hockey, stat muse has the kings 16th in goals scored per game and the ducks at 27th. Kings quite literally score more on average then the ducks. The Ducks are just bad its really that simple.
Terry not putting away the tying goal at the end was a heartbreaker. I thought he had that for sure.

The Kings don’t even play the 1-3-1 anymore but since we’re 11-1 against you in our last 12 and you’re complaining about our boring style of play maybe that means you just don’t know how to beat it
We just got suffocated. Next year, same situation, we have the Kings asses handed to them. But for now, we still need to build some chemistry and our youth still needs some improvement. Also we didn't have Carlsson.
I have a question. Minty's fancy stats have been lackluster lately. Has he really slowed down, or it's just his defence partner Gudas dragging this pairing down? I'm starting to feel like Gudas is not HIM when it comes to capitancy.
The same old story again- Anaheim Ducks in last place and Kings looking set for the playoffs where they always lose in the first round. I don't get it. First there's the general NHL inconsistent stupid rules/changes then there's playing better than the teams we face and losing anyway. This hurts as a longtime fan and we need to stop the bleeding- ASAP. Go Ducks!

Good effort by the Ducks, but so many missed chances. It's frustrating to lose this way, more so to the Kings. But I must say I enjoyed the game, guys played well.
