Quel moment classique ! When I saw the Devils got the Rags in a shutout (especially since the Rags lost Kakko and Trouba) since I have the score pinned to my phone at all times, all I could think was "Merry Christmas to me!" This well makes up for the New York Sirens losing their home game against Minnesota Frost the other day (I was at that game, and man, was that loss a tough one, considering I was torn between being happy for the Frost and disappointed the Sirens lost). But the Sirens played a great game with Bobby Carpenter's daughter Alex getting the Sirens tied up and into overtime.
OMG this is awesssooommmeeeee. Thanks for posting.
Love this
I wish I was there! Trying to save money and around Christmas is so difficult! Glad we stomped them; I was so nervous before this game; Heck, I'm nervous before every Devils/rags game. This team is amazing. LGD!!
Happy Festivus!
LGD.
We are going to see that smile again when the documentary of the 2024-2025 season come out after June.
Rangers Fan here you guys have every right to troll us at this point this is just getting embarrassing from a potential Stanley cup contender to one of the biggest jokes in the league you can't make this up
Awesome
Beautiful.
oh its going to be even funnier when you scrubs are out in the first round #LGR
Absolutely epic. Nice to see some personality from Jack too.
Did the crowd get to sing that "Na na na hey goodbye" song at the game?
Truly amazing how they thought Kappo was going to be better than Hughes & now he owns the Rangers. Epic shit!!
Epic troll 😂
:slow clap:
Nolan Patrick is next when Philly visits.
And Kappo isn't even a Ranger anymore. 😂
Epic, thanks for posting, Ace!
hahaha that was awesome
I didn't know what to make of this game it was all messed up and all wrong wtf Idk about this game being awesome not to me it wasn't all the horror it was bad they ain't doing to good with out Jacob he was the best defense men they ever had he wasn't afraid to be in front of the goalie net and help the goaltender they need to do that more and they ain't like I said it's tgr curse of Jacob he's not there anymore they got rid of the wrong guy smooth Gilligan bad choice that's what they get lesson learned oh well it is what it is then
Thanks Ace for posting this love these little clips!!! Thank you sir! Love from Seattle!!!
I remember when we drafted Hughes. My boss, at the time, a big Rangers fan, said "You can take Hughes! Kappo is bigger and better!" Oh boy did that age like a bottle of fine whiskey.
This game was great. My fiance gets mad when I come home before 4…so I managed to finish my field work a little early. I got a bottle of Coca Cola, and hung out at my local Shop Rite, so I can hang out and use their wifi….As the Devils were scoring, I was cheering, and people were staring at me. It was hilarious, but great.
The brother connection for the one timer is sweet. I keep seeing it.
There was never any comparison between Hughes and Kakko. That was the Ranger-loving sports media attempting to plant seeds of doubt in Devils' management all the while making dopey Ranger fans feel good about getting the also-ran. "The Pressure is all on you!l 😂 -not really! Hughes was the clear cut # 1 one and Kakko was a very distant 2nd -as their play and his recent trade shows!
Fuck you rangers go tf home anywhere but here
Brought tears to my eyes!
Perfect troll and priceless "did I really do all that?" smile by Jack after seeing his stat line. Another example of how Rangers fans get played by their own media hype. I get that Kakko was legitimately seen as a potential future star in that draft by many and can't really fault the Rangers for picking him #2 with anything but hindsight; but a large majority of experts thought Jack a much better pick at the time. The NY press fed them that he may be better than Jack because size difference is easy to write about and they knew that Jack would go #1 and create a buzz. There was one Canadian (I think Craig Button) who did put Kakko ahead of Jack and I seem to recall a "20 scout poll" that was something like 80% Jack #1 and 20% Kakko #1"; but they really blew up the buzz there.
Don't think it will happen, but I'd love to see Kakko become a star player with Seattle and show up Rangers development. Most likely he just stays an average mid-6 player, but its not unheard of for players to find a star level/legit top-6 game later in development.
