Jesus H, those few seconds from Myers summed up the abysmal performances of the defence today. He steals the puck, then he over-skates it, ruining his momentum, then he stops, turns and just passes aimlessly to Miller, effectively assisting the Kraken to win the game. As far as privileges go, he's had it best for far, far too long. He doesn't deserve to be playing in Vancouver, and many, many times, he's gotten away with it when better defensive teammates have been moved on.
I was there I still cannot believe it.

I watched that first Kraken pass back to goalie early in OT and I seriously thought our Kraken had lost the game right there – no confidence in Grubauer's ability to even stop that from going in the goal. Likewise the Canuck's failed pass that slid straight to Grubauer for him to cover up – I've seen Grube blow so many saves that I seriously worried that even that weak "shot" could have cost us the game.
But in the end – after a ridiculous comeback (yes, Canucks fans, your goalie gave us some Grubauer-style failures to stop the puck from going in the net – thank you, we'll take it), a Kraken victory in the end. At least we know the key to not losing with Grubauer in net in OT – don't let the other time get ANY quality shots on net.
Imagine being stupid enough to see Myers "play hockey" for 5 years, then go we need 3 more years of that. Fun fact, by the end of this contract he will be second all time in games played for a Canucks dman 😂.
