Lindy gambled and lost sliding Sammy back in the line-up against a soft team , lesson learned – if it ain't broke don't fix it!
Ugly, ugly loss. Be a goldfish. Head up, on to the next.
Yeah this is a rough loss.
I will always applaud Lindy for being honest in pressers – owning up to the fact that the challenge was a poor choice, and he cozens didn’t necessarily get dragged down
Lindy inherited a soft undisciplined team, it is going to take some time to turn things around
Tough loss, too many lapses in concentration. The decision to waive Reimer is going to keep hurting any time the goalies get banged up.
My take is, they have to get Levi playing, in Rochester. Our goalie change only helped Le Habs…
With Reinhart, Eichel and Mittelstadt we allready would made the playoffs. Its the management before Kevin Adams that made the right calls, but there was no patience then. And now there is. Thats make no sense. And the current pipeline is no gain. It is a result of 13 years no playoffs.
I agree with Lindy's honesty. As a fan, saw several things:
-Thompson injured, the team kind of lost the power so to speak when he went down.
-Cat & mouse the entire game, but went soft after Dhalin's goal. Allowing 3 goals in the 2nd & 3rd hurt them big time.
-Why pull Lukkonen? Guaranteed had that NOT happened, the team would have either (a) won the game hands down, or (b) an easy 1pt to get it into OT.
It's obvious this team though, is playing with purpose, unlike other seasons. We just need to not lay back & keep the heat turned up the entire game, ESPECIALLY when we take the lead. Goalies are fine, maybe Levi could use some more umph in his performance, but Lukkonen is obviously the best choice so far the team has to contend.
