Also… wtf were those penalties? I'm not sold Benn deserved more than 2 even if the play was incredibly bush league and dirty (as some people I've seen have suggested), but Svech's "goalie interference"? are you kidding? Dougie's hold – IN OVERTIME?? YOU MADE THAT CALL IN OVERTIME?????!?!!?!?!?
whatever. I would been real pissed if the Stars won off that garbage.
This was such a good game to watch as a Canes fan, even if they could have scored more of their chances in the first period! Credit to the Stars, they'll certainly bounce back after this. I do wish the highlights included all the shootout goals though…
I gotta tell ya, with the puck movement Carolina showed and their viscous special teams play, my Starts are DAMN lucky to get a point outta those two games

Stars had more dirty hits than goals during that 2 game series. They're like a light version of the Boston Bruins.
