I would take Miller over Petterson every day of the week. When the going gets tough get out of the way or lead. One gets out of the way and one leads.
Lego finally gets to the point around 3:00
Pettersson is soft you dont win with guys like that
miller acts like he's won 5 stanley cups and 10 art ross'
bro has never won nothing in this league and wants to tell everyone else what to do lol
Can't believe I wasted a 3 round pick in my fantasy league on JT Miller. He's been mediocre all season and the dude literally missed a month because he has a bad attitude. What a joke lol.
Miller is a power forward and it works for him. Petty although has great skills is way too soft, and there lies the problem. these two will never jell! One must go. I'm leaning on Petty because of his big paycheck.
Miller has lost more games than he has won.
JT Miller has what, six goals on the year? What makes him think he should be directing traffic?
click bait strikes again. I know better to come here
I don't consider Brad Richardson's comments important at all. It's not valuable insight because the very next season Petterson had an outstanding season scoring over 100 points. So whatever J.T. was saying to him had no negative affect on Petey what so ever. Also I find it amusing that Miller likes to push & pressure teammates into improving their game when he is the player that has many times been a defensive liability by stoping skating after the Canucks turn over the puck & he basically gives up on the play. At least Petterson's defensive game has never been questioned as he is considered to be one of the best two way forwards in the NHL.
Can someone explain to me what Geo says at the end of each video please?
Ya everyone said it was Petey with the problem. The CANCER is JT Miller. Always has been. Ship that trash to the Rangers already. He'll fit right in there.
EP should just transition and play in the PWHL. He would be surrounded by players more like him and he would dominate you would hope.
I think they both need to "grow up" and show that they are professionals.
This sounds like a job for the Sedin twins. Petey is kind of getting to that point in his career where they were, when they weren't entirely sure if they were gonna stick around in the NHL. Then the Sedins learned more about being pros and elevating their games. I think a lot of professionals at anything kind of go through these growing pains before taking that next step.
Petey is the man you want to build your team around , Allvin knows this and the Aquilinis know this. If miller the issue. move the Guy.
Fricken 11 million dollar cry baby . For 11 million attack attack attack that’s what your paid for … y’all are a bunch of cry baby’s .. JT plays the game like a man . If number 40 can’t handle it go play girls volleyball
They are both grown men ,put on the boxing gloves with a ref and have it out and end it ,then get a bottle of booze and shake hands and call it a day
Miller is a hot head I’m sure we’ve all dealt with that type of personality someone just needs to put him in his place!
Sidebar thought. Richardson is employed by Calgary, should an opposing teams employee be allowed to air another teams dirty laundry and stir the pot? I’m not saying they shouldn’t be allowed to just a thought as to what the NHL might consider inappropriate conduct for a team’s employee.
Petterson for Bedard straight across lets go…
I watched the video on Twitter. I’m never gonna say X I’m always gonna say Twitter lol.
My thoughts is JT Miller is a good player and probably just grew up playing with a more hard mentality that’s more competitive and there’s nothing wrong with that. Everybody is in it to win it.
But there comes a time when you have a young guy who’s super talented and has multiple multiple awards in his young career. Pretty much you’re superstar of the team and well in Vancouver we have some superstars, but not young young town like this in a long time.
So if I could talk to JT, I would tell him, bro you gotta take it easy. I understand your play style but you gotta take it easy. I get ur in it to win it but if you loose the connection to one player, thank and have an effect on the entire team.
I would put them in a room together and tell them to hash it out. Doesn’t matter if they don’t agree. Because in the end both of them want to win and ep40 is our future superstar
JT hates to lose more than he likes to win .
I would like to believe that both of them have moved on. If not ,management would have done something about it. They made it to the playoffs last year. What we need are 2 good defense men who would join Hughes and Hronek.
Miller needs to understand that Pete needs time to grow get a little tougher. I think some guys are skill some are tough some are both kinda like Miller.
Dvorak and a third for Pettersson. 😁
Seriously, everybody should be knocking at the door at this point, get the guy out of that toxic team and reap the benefits of having a super star on the cheap.
3 things:
1. The part fans never see is how a player prepares. That's the sign of a pro. I have a feeling that's where the biggest issues are.
2. Nothing matters if you can't win in the playoffs, and IMHO Petey has shown me nothing. That is the only hockey anyone really cares about and I'd go to war with Miller any time any where.
3. What could the Canucks realistically get for Petey? At this point in his career it should be possible to find a team that would overpay for him and fill other holes in this lineup
Bigger picture the Canucks had a system that was so good last year it shows up the current squad very badly. They almost never gave up a 3rd period lead, they never gave odd man rushes, they scored the 1st goal so often I took it for granted it would happen. This lineup will not win in the playoffs if they can even get there.
Trading Petey keeps this window open.
And yes I may very well be full of sh..
Really like Miller and the Canucks really need him but all he's doing is hurting the team..
The Canucks can't lose Petey, players like him NEVER become available on the FA market, and if they do, they're going to a low-tax state like FL, NV, or WA, not going to Vancouver. Miller is having a bad year, personally and professionally; he needs to look at himself in the mirror, shut his yap, and work harder on his own 200-foot game before being hard on Petey, causing him to shut down and destroy any chemistry this team had. Petey is still only 26, and he won't reach his peak for two or three more years; Miller, on the other hand, is on the downside of his career, and if Canucks management can move him for a high pick, or better yet, an NHL ready good prospect, preferably a 2C or a 2D, that would fit the window of this team, then get it done!
I've played with guys like Miller, who think they know everything, are hard on others when bounces aren't going their way, and are great when the pucks are going in for them. You have to have a thick skin and a lot of self-confidence to play with a guy like that, especially if you play on their line. The team needs a guy to loosen things up in the room. The failure to sign Zadorov for this reason alone looms even larger on the complexion of this entire season?
didn't realize that JT was the head coach of the canucks, so player-coach?
but we have to remember Bruce Boudreau coach us to zero playoff games. Pushing is good, everyone doesn't need to feel better after a talk. But it's really easy to have things cascade and everyone is feels like they can't get better. miller is more along the lines of my personality, but over the years I've learned to realize that ya gotta chill the F out.
We didn’t sign Petey to lay hits and be gritty , he’s a goal scorer and playmaker
This crap is so stupid. JT Miller can go away.
Or Crosby for Elias Pettersson and Elias Pettersson dman.
The amount of money petey makes he isn't worth that much for what canucks are getting out petey since he signed his big contract.
Pettersson has pouted for awhile now. He absolutely disappeared in the playoffs in ‘24, while JT and most of the other stars played well. THAT was the difference in not getting to the Cup Finals.
Who else is tired of these shenanigan's. I say trade the whole team. We just want hockey not drama.
Being paid millions to just be playing mediocre hockey and shameful to keep on blaming each other.
This video could have been 1 minute long! Talk about saying the same damn thing over and over and over and over and over and over again and just for good measure over again.
