thanks for the update !! Happy New Year to all of you oiler fans. Go Oilers !
Thank you Patrick!
Thanks Patrick! Cheers.
Happy new year Patrick, best of luck to you and future success of your channel
Thanks Patrick. Still pretty wrecked here (not from alcohol or other recreationals, medically) but day at a time. Wishing you and your camera person (aka your wife) from the last video nothing but the best in 2025. Take care all.
Skinners being showcased
Happy new year Patrick.
Josh Brown Derek Ryan and Jeff Skinner to Montreal for Jake Evans and a 7th round draft pick
Trade protection just allows him to be apart of the process. Nobody is untradeable
They got to get rid of Jeff Skinner. He's going to be 33 years old in the playoffs. He is -11 this season and -141 career. Who was the stupid idiot who hired him inte first place. He's never been a positive plus/minus player. He's a nightmare.
J Skinner just doesn’t fit and the n reality is taking away from some of the boys in Bako a chance to get NHL experience. Hopefully ready to play the ducks. Happy New Year!
Jeff is the only good Skinner on the team
Jeff is the only good Skinner on the team
McDavid can be 2nd all time by next Wednesday lol, he is only 7 behind Kurri
Knoblauch seems to hate Skinner, and it appears like many of you pundits are trying to run him out of town before he's had a decent opportunity. Brown didn't get a goal until the Washington game last season, yet people had patience for him. What gives? Skinner only played for 1 team since he entered the league and won the Calder, perhaps it takes some time to adapt.
Knob likes his old slow players out there, skinner was doing good at pre season and start of the year then knob said screw that I need Perry and Henrique with more ice time, and what have they done
Great video Patrick, thanks!!
Here’s to the Oiler’s bringing the cup home 🏆!
Happy New Year!! 🥳
How is Skinner’s situation different from Brown’s last year?
Let's go get that Cup 🎉 Buddy. Love your updated.. Mcjesus for the MVP. Drai for the rocket
If all are healthy what will the lines look like with Kane coming back? Big decisions to be made.
I hope after Skinner is traded for a 7th rd pick, he lights it up. That way I can hear Oilers fans complain that we shouldn't have traded him and gave him a top 6 role:)
Like the Line shuffle only thing missing for the Playoff drive is Big Center NICK BJUGSTAD
defense was tight and that keeps goals against down and taking the rush at the blue line keeps us winning .
Next Up is added another Top4 Defence man
I think Jeff Skinner is a better player than what he's shown so far. He seems to need someone who can get him the puck on a consistent basis. Maybe he's not a long term fit on the team. Connor Brown is a long-term fit. He's getting better with every game. Signing him was another great move by Ken Holland. Brown was coming off an extremely serious knee injury that might have derailed his career. Holland took a chance on him. Things certainly didn't look good at first. The team was patient with him, giving him time to fully recover from the injury., But Brown was huge in the playoffs and has continued to get better and better as we're seeing now. In a way his situation was similar to that of Evander Kane. Holland took a chance on Kane. The past is the past. Has no bearing on the here and now. You're welcome here and just go play. I will always remain a big fan of Ken Holland. He won Cups in Detroit, so he knows what he's doing. Miss him very much. Now on to Utah HC. We can all speculate on moves the Oilers can make to improve the roster. I really like Liam O'Brien. Remember him from last year when Utah was still the Coyotes. He's physical, feisty, energetic and will fight anyone. He's a 'disturber'. He's very 'noticeable'. Players on other teams would have to keep their heads up when he's on the ice. He seems to be a 'little out there' and I think that's really cool. I like the idea of him on the third or fourth line. I like Derek Ryan and have a lot of respect for him. All the credit to him for playing 600 NHL games. But he's 37 years old. He's nearing the end of the line. What stands out about his game? It's obvious what stands out about Liam O'Brien. Team doesn't have anyone like him. O'Brien is a Pat Maroon type of player. Mess with McDavid and you'll have to answer to O'Brien. Sounds like an Irish accident and injury law firm. McDavid and O'Brien. We'll score for you, and we'll fight for you. Would O'Brien have gone after Ryan Reeves after Reeves laid that dirty hit on Nurse? You bet. Did anyone go after Reeves after the hit before Reeves was thrown out of the game? Nope. We don't need another scorer. We need a 'disturber'. Team is a little soft when it comes to the rough stuff. I'd have to check but I don't think a player like O'Brien would be a big-time cap hit. Maybe a million and no more. Just my opinion. And, most importantly of all, let's not forget that top four d-man. Top priority there.
Hey Patrick, do you think the Oilers can score a 10 goal game this year ? Only the Penguins have scored 9 and that was last month.
