Trade for a Jeff Skinner?
Never should have let him go, but I would be surprised if he comes back, considering the reasons we couldn't afford him in the first place haven't changed too much.

I'd rather not trade for him, and save that money to make a trade for a gritty top 4 D-man. If you want another Center for the 4th line, try out Savoie or Philp. Don't forget, Kane will be back….there's a lot of grit there.
I think trading Henrique and skinner would make sense. Get a younger faster 3c, yanni gourde? Get another right hand d such as savard and I think it could be good moves.
Bjugstad sounds an awful lot like Noah Philp to me.
He is too slow. Not a chance he will be back on the Oilers. Not enough skill. The only reason he got 45 points last year is he was top 6 in Arizona.

Dolynny, this guy wants money not the cup. This is a distraction. Fire bowman and jackson and get Holloway, Foegele and McLeod back and put them on one line and keep them together for chemistry. Then for god sakes, get a real goalie and then watch stanley come home to Edmonton.

Can they bring up Noah Philip? He looked pretty good to me…Skinner hasn't been bad, just not a lower 6 guy but hard to fit him in top 6 right now. They really need another tough big D man and a mean banger 4th liner.

Part trade with Ryan, who may want to end his career down in Salt Lake. However I agree with comments below – give Philp a run. I would also put Brown back on the 3rd and give Skinner a shot for 10-15 games with McDavid. If it doesn't work trade him near the deadline. Feel sorry for the poor guy- I don't think he's been given a proper chance.
Trading for forwards? Oil mgmt is so running scared all the time. Give Skinner some ice time and see what happens. Also Kane coming back. We do not need forwards, We are fine in that dept. I did like him when he was here but lets just try and stick to some kinda plan for once.
