Torts! My spirit animal! I love…. absolutely love…that he keeps pounding and pounding on the "play without the puck"….! Young players are so fortunate to be playing for them. Torts teaches the entire game! There is so much more that just passing, shooting and skating…to this game! Teams that win the Cup…. understand this! So much of the game for a player…is without the puck! It's like a pilot and landings. Landings are about 6% of their entire flight time. Well, hockey players skate more without the puck than with and…from F1 to F3 and D1 & 2….all have assignments when on the ice. The more the players learn this and buy into the system, the more competitive they will be. Torts, Danny B and Jonesy. The holy hockey Trinity that can bring the cup back to South Philly once again! 😉😄 Let's go Flyers!
goaltending is such a challenge in Philly…we could have Bob and Stolarz if we were patient with goalie development. They should stick with these young goalies and develop them, especially under this rebuild situation.

I cringe every time these goalies come out of the crease and try to handle the puck…yikes.
