The Hurricanes absolutely bullied Florida for the first half of the game. Finishing checks, a couple open ice hits and reverse hits. This was probably the most physical I’ve ever seen the Canes be. Martinook was absolutely pummeling them.
Tkachuk’s whole game is to try and get you to take a dumb penalty. The canes did a great job not taking any.
