When you say Walstrim is better than Lysell and then you go on to say Bruin can’t make a pass you lost me. Problem with Lysell is they stick him with guys like walstrom. Btw Lysell won a game and set up their first goal and played 10 min.
I record the Bruins games and fast forward to the good parts. Takes about five minutes.
None of the best players at the World Juniors were Bruins' draft picks. And their first-round pick from 2024, Dean Letourneau, has two points in 15 games for Boston College this year.
That is 100% wrong on Pasta. Simply put, the line Pasta is on is worth nothing. All other teams devence is concerned on that line is Pasta. He is the threat. They block a lot of his shots, and they don't leave him any space because his line mates suck ass. He is a wing, yet he carries the puck into the zone 80% of the times because his center sucks for 7+ millions. Zacha is the new invisible man. After playing his career with Bergy and Krejci, he plays now with 2 invisible players on a line. No bumper plays, the other wing does NOTHING. That is the problem with our offense. Brazzeou is the best player other than Pasta. They can only do so much. Think about it…The same on the PP. Even my Grandmother is expecting the cross crease pass to Pastas onetimer and she doesn't even watch hockey, not to mention she is dead for 10 years…

The high payroll guys with the dismal stats are more interested in their upcoming tournament. The Bruins stuff is just House League. Of course, that's where they get their income from so they have to be careful on that one. Lou Holtz was asked what is the difference in football players today and 50 years ago. He answered "Simple, Today's athletes talk about rights and privileges. And the players 50 years ago talked about obligations and responsibilities!” If today's players have no obligations, why should you? Fair question. 🤔

The chippy, in your face grinder ? Pasta is hot and cold. Don't even get me going on Swayman and McAvoy who are both so overpaid for the lack of performance they've exhibited so far this season. SWEENEY was long due for the unemployment line about 10 years ago. I almost don't want to waste my time watching them anymore and I've been cheering them on since 1957!!

Blaming Pazstrnak for this mess is bat shit crazy. He's by far the best player on the team. The power play? It takes more than one guy. Teams know shut down Pasta and you shut down the Bruins. This team does not have a #1 center. Elias Lindholm ? My god what an awful pick up. Zadorov too. McAvoy top 5 Dman in league? Nowhere near so. D corps has been bad. Special teams stink. Playoffs ? This team isn't making the playoffs.
The Lysell-Merkulov fetish in this town is weird. They remind me of Jordan Caron and Studnicka (sp?). Lots of hype, but they’ve done literally nothing.
Wahlstrom brings absolutely nothing to this team. To say were better off with him over Lysell or poitras or merki is crazy. If Sweeney doesn't get fired more damage will be done and this team will suck for 5 to 10 years. The problem is everyone gets a Nmc and is overpaid even when the bruins are the only bidder in FA.

If you look at NHL Edge, Zadorov is actually a very fast skater for a defenseman. He's 95th percentile for top speed and 86th percentile for speed bursts over 20 mph among D-men. He's posted the highest top speed of all skaters on the Bruins roster. He's big and a smooth skater, so it looks slower than it actually is.
Other fast Bruins are Kastelic, Koepke, Lohrei, Pastrnak, and kinda McAvoy and Zacha in terms of speed bursts.
The team as whole is slow. But I think you're right that the sloppy passing is making it worse than it could be.
This Bruins roster is very poor on talent plain and simple. We have 2 top six players & you don’t have much success with that recipe!
Mediocre goalies and that one of the reasons the last 2 seasons our record was so good! We had the best goalie tandems ever !
