As the season has progressed, I have, more and more, come to the belief that we need to resign pionk. Should we add another top 4 D? Definitely. But pionk does so much and has been so good this year. I'd say he's good for 5×5.5m or 4x6m.
My god did Demelo and Pionk cover Stans ass last night. I only see more defence getting injured if they have to play both sides of the ice like that going forward.
You guys really need to be talking about the 2nd line. It's a major problem in the works with Perfetti doing his annual disappearing act again. There's no way the Jets can go deep in the playoffs with that line doing next to nothing. Cole is no longer a cheap ELC, he's making the same money as Vilardi and the production is nowhere near the same. Perfetti's days in Wpg could be over soon with the trade deadline approaching.
