As long as they show effort, and stay confident, I believe it’s possible to make the playoffs. I would love to see Tarasenko get goin, but the whole group is producing right now. Don’t get too high or low, just playing fricken hockey.

A lot of comments currently include comparisons to Lidstrom, which I understand, but you're not comparing the two at 23 years old, you're comparing Prime Lidstrom to a 23 year old Moritz Seider. Seider will be Detroit's record holder for assists under 24 in 2-3 games. Who is already behind him? Lidstrom.
Let Seider be Seider. If he becomes just 90% of what Lidstrom was, everyone will be happy.
Kasper and Tarassenko to me are the players who need to do a little more. Kasper is young and good, no question, but I think he's playing below his potential.
Kasper on the top line with Larkin and Raymond I thought they should have tried a long time ago. Johansson on the right side with Edvinsson I thought they should have tried as well, especially considering they played together a lot in grand rapids and Petry/Holl were the only other options. So happy to see McLellan is willing to try players in different roles and experiment. He is willing to give young players a chance and his decisions make sense.
