  1. At least Gus is self aware that he hasn’t had the best start. Keep the confidence and skate hard. All you can do, the next few games are very winnable if we play hard.

  2. Whatever McLellan is selling the whole team is definitely buying !! Every player is skating loose, seemingly having fun for sure 👍🏼. Great days ahead, . . . . Dump & Chase = R. I. P. !!!!!

  3. Does anybody know what’s up with Wallinder? I know they called him up but I didn’t think they sent him down. And I was really excited to watch him too. Did they send him down?

  4. did not love Todd's answer at the end when asked if Kane-Cat were a forward pair he would consider as being automatically attached to each other. he said "it would seem to make sense" but his general tone was hemming and hawing. meanwhile he previously already has said that Larkin and Raymond – whose 5v5 lines together pretty much never work – are "locked in together and are a duo that will play together for years here." this stuff seems to come from Yzerman, if another coach is now repeating it this way. if he breaks up Kane-Cat and that good 2nd line to feed DeBrincat to the 1st line again, he will destroy the team. just point blank, that move would ruin the team. it ruined the entire season prior to 11 games ago. if he does it he will learn a hard lesson here pretty quickly. Kane will disappear effortwise 5v5 and power play and so will the wins disappear.

if Larkin and Raymond are so good how about they make it work 5v5 without needing another all star wing? Kane and Cat have turned COPP into a center of a great line. but Larkin Raymond can't elevate Tarasenko, Veleno, Kasper? maybe they're the problem if so. and why not try Berggren there at some point?

  5. I am always so impressed with kaspers english usually when young players come from over seas they have super strong accents and that "foreign english" where its kinda broken sentences and stuff but his is pretty damn perfect only thing i notice with his English is for the words like think he pronounces it like fink but compared to other players not from NA its very understandable

  6. I've been following the team closely for over four years and I just want to throw a thing on the wall:
    – would it be a long term good thing to switch Raymond and Larkin? Putting Larkin to the wing and make Raymond a center?
As I see it, Larkin is a very good goal scorer, fast skater, good at hunting the puck and checking but he's not the very best at passing or seeing the ice, his hockey iq isn't on top league level. All in all he would benefit from playing the wing.
Raymond has excellent hockey iq, has excellent passing ability and plays a very good 200 foot game. I would love to see him playing center.
It's not unheard of that players change positions, Pettersson and Miller in Vancouver has done it and so has a lot of other teams. Heck, Rasmus Dahlin (#1 draft pick) change from playing forward to defense when he was 15-16 years old.

  7. gotta give it up for Husso.. seems like a class act dude and handling his situation hes in this year like a pro.. good on him 👍🔥

  8. Asking questions the way he's talking about is a huge problem with the game. Logan's mindset is the only one all of them should have. Do as your told always.
