Habs really need to work on their starts, playing great in the 2nd and 3rd periods tho. Dobes came down to earth a little the two goals are the first ones he's let past him in the NHL where he probably should have had them.
Suzuki and Slaf looked a little sloppy but Suzuki being Suzuki showed up when it mattered most.

these announcers make the caps games so much better to listen to, most unbiased i think i've ever heard.
I remember in December 1967 or 68 Montreal was in last place in the standings. The fanbase were calling for blood. Toe Blake was the coach.
Then….the ghosts of the Montreal Forum sprinkled some of that magical gold dust and Montreal began it's complete turnaround.
At season end, Montreal was in first place and cut through the Bruins in 4 straight very close hard fought games. It was Boston's first playoff appearance in almost a decade and Bobby Orr showed he was made of gold.
Montreal met the St. Louis Blues that playoff season in the Stanley Cup Finals who were coached by Scotty Bowman.
Montreal took the series in 4 straight games, each win only by one goal.
Glenn Hall put on a goaltending clinic in that series. Montreal dominated the play.
Montreal won another Stanley Cup that Spring and Toe Blake announced his retirement at the end of the cup clinching game. Toe admitted that these new players in the NHL were different from the players he used to coach and he had problems coaching them.
Montreal has never won a Stanley Cup at the Bell Center……you would swear that those ghosts refused to leave their home and hockey shrine…..the famous Montreal Forum.
