Remember how Blashill would rate the team based on 10 game sets? Under Tod McLellan, through 8 games, the Wings look pretty damn good under McLellan. Too bad he wasn’t available when Blash’s term ended.
Amazing what a coaching change can do. What I'm going to be looking for is what happens when they hit adversity and struggle. Under Fester whenever something bad happened it would take them forever to pull out of it. Trade deadline of 23, the last 3 weeks of Dec 23 and then March of last year. The streaks in Dec and March of last season they were like a combined 6-18. They are going to struggle at some point still. They can't fold up like last season.
