I would rather the guys be honest about there true feelings instead of speaking from scripts. Marner did say after they needed to clean things up. I prefer realism and they just be true to themselves. But yeah Marner overall has issues with accountability. If thats who he is so beat it. Time to move on from him though. Best for Marner and the leafs I think in the long run. Save 13 million and sign a few guys. ..That said Boudreau raised a good point about getting pucks to the net and shooting for rebounds. Last playoffs when they couldn't score the leafs WOULD REFUSE to shoot for a rebound. So many times man I couldn't believe it. It was like they wanted to lose how crazy that sounds though. Most teams pro or not know cant score start shooting for rebound. Shoot low. They would always shoot high too…very unusual . Team wants the pretty play or be the hero. That was in playoffs .
And I thought he has sucked in every playoffs. I guess we are all entitled to an opinion,
