In my book there is only one great insider and it was Bob McKenzie. The rest of em mostly make stuff up, and now there's this new breed that try to dig stories involving the private life of players. I'd prefer if we'd all just stick to in-game analysis. Like for example let's say two players don't get along. Anyone watching the Bruins realizes that they don't have enough tier 1 players that they can put them all on 1 line. You do that and the opposition simply puts a good defensive line against them and then who do you have that's going to score goals. It is really annoying how much drama the media is trying to pump into this sport this year. What for? It's a game people, it's sole purpose is for entertainment. We don't need to dramatize it to make it more entertaining. If people don't find it entertaining enough as is, let them not watch it, who cares. The league isn't hurting for money. Let those of us that actually love hockey continue loving it for what it is and stop trying to make a reality show out of it.
Nice! Well said! Brad Marchand has a reputation sometimes that some don't like, but I have watched him at times. He will direct his attention to a kid or kids that he may see, anytime and also it seems, all the time. I think that he is amazing with kids. This video adds an example to his decent personality as well. He is kind of pissed here, but stayed calm and shared a very strong opinion and made his point. No swear words just clear explanation.
