  1. Being on the edge of the playoffs with being 20 million under the cap is pretty wild. Wolf being able to stop NHL shooters so well in his first year is a Kuzmenko 'very interesting'. Biggest difference is Flames being able to win more against low point teams compared to prior years

  2. Looking at Flames and Canucks, Flames prove how important to have good locker room and chemistry.
Flames are not elite team but all the players stand up for each other every game and young players are having fun.
    It’s very entertaining this season.
    Go Flames Go!

  3. As a Flames fan, I'm really happy to see the culture change since Conroy has taken over. Playing hard hockey and making players want to stay, such as Rasmus.

  4. 🔥 GO FLAMES GO 🔥 I always like seeing you rock the Flames attire lol. Thank you Shannon. Your contribution to hockey is outstanding!

  5. Calgary has too many offensively talented players having extremely bad luck to keep not scoring like this
Only place they can go is up really

  6. Calgary is interesting for sure. Even if they could sneak into the playoffs, they surely won’t go deep into them. To me, they should still treat this as a “last year or maybe 2nd to last year of a rebuild”

It’s not worth calling the rebuild done too soon. Don’t count your chickens before they hatch. If they give up prospects or draft capital just to get bounced in round 1, that will hurt them a ton long term.

I’m not suggesting they should tank, but they should definitely approach the end of the year as a seller looking to acquire assets.

  7. I miss Yegor in NJ. Really like that kid. Even if he’s having a bit of a down year

  8. I dont think Vladar really has much value to be honest. Not with how he’s played this year. Yeah they could trade him, but they’d need a backup in return so I don’t see them “trading up” or getting anything additional on top of another backup.

  9. I think Wolf has been such a good story this season. The Flames traded Markstrom in order to give him a legitimate chance and he has done nothing but prove them right. He has been outstanding and without him the Flames woykd be way closer to where everyone thought they would be before season started.

  10. I am impressed that CGY has done as well as they have given the large loss of talent they have endured for the past 4 or 5 years.

  11. I’m a Flames fan. And I’m sorry. But I’m sick of this team being nothing but pretenders. I’m praying that they fall off hard, and more so DO NOT acquire people at the deadline.

This team will, mark my words, get obliterated in round 1. Assuming the goaltending can even carry them there in the first place.

What this team desperately needs is to be a genuinely bad team for 3-5 years, and stack draft picks in the meantime. So they can actually build a team.

This team has never, not even 1 time, drafted in the top 3. Ever. Time to stop operating a team doomed to mediocrity. Sacrifice middle of the pack outcomes now, for far more success down the line.

I’m sick of watching this team try the same strategy over and over again.

  12. As a Flames fan, they're a lot more fun to watch this year, but I'm not getting my hopes up about playoffs. Even if they manage to sneak in, it'll be a quick exit. The future looks bright, but they still have a long way to go. Wolf is great, and the team is playing well together, but they just don't have enough scoring talent to do any real damage.

  13. The star of the Flames is the coach. Huska installed a system, that works. Conroy signed players, which want to play for the Flames. It works and is looking good. I hope, that Conroy kepp this rolling. The young guys have to play, play, play.

Greetings from Germany, your videos are great 👍

  14. I don't think Vladar has done all that bad. He usually does the second of the back to back and he has not much offensive support in many of those games.

  15. If you’ve watched any flames games, you’d know Vladar has played really well. He just gets the tougher games.
