  1. I think the move they need to make is for a different Brock….as in Boeser!! The wild don't have a single right handed shot in their top 6 and only 1 on their #1PP, and it's Faber or Spurgeon on the point!! Plus Boeser is 27 compared to Nelson at 33!!

  2. Brock Nelson? No thanks. He’s as cold as ice right now. Maybe if we can get him at a discount.

  3. Now is definitely not the time to be trading prospects for aging vets. That's what they did during the Fletcher era and acquiring players such as Pominville and Moulson didn't turn them into a Cup contender. Brock Nelson doesn't fit with the team long term. Yurov, Rossi, Ek, and Khusnutdinov will be their centers of the future. If anything, they need to get rid of some dead weight, such as Johansson, to make room for Ohgren who is playing well in Iowa with 20 points in 24 games.

  4. Bring Granlund back to the Wild from San Jose. He's playing great right now. Sharks may be willing to deal him. Also Faber just signed a big contract, he's going nowhere.

  5. We need a number 1 center for a good chance in the playoffs we gotta plan now we are most likely in it at this point…sign 1 year and pull a lightning move put a player on long term injury plus the cap u have now…then next year u can do what u want after with more cap space…guerin knows what to do

  6. The only NYI that's even remotely interesting is Barzal. Anders Lee would have been nice about 6 or 7 years ago but other than that I don't want any of these guys

  7. With the PK as abysmal as it is, the Wild are going nowhere in this seasons playoffs if they make it. I see very little sense in wasting picks or prospects for another first round exit on a guy they can sign in the offseason. Trading for Nelson would be a waste of assets in a year there really isn't much hope to do anything in the playoffs. Good special teams play in the playoffs is essential and this team doesn't have that. Their PP is 24th in the league and the PK is 29th. Anyone that thinks the team does anything with those special teams ranking at those rates is out of their mind. I think Nelson would probably come out of his points funk if he gets traded, but I don't want them to waste the assets on a 33 yr old, soon to be free agent.

  8. The wild should not make a big splash with their prospects. By their time and trade away Hartman, Freddy G, and Spurgeon in the off-season. Opens up spots for those prospects and even more cap space for free agents.

  9. They need a Center and a Right Winger. Prospects need to be moved, hopefully not Yurov, Ohgren, or Heidt. wild are very poor on faceoffs and need the help on the dot.

  10. A younger player like Dylan Cozens makes more sense to me. Nelson's age (and expiring contract) makes him more of a rental. Sabres could benefit from a couple of good prospects or pics. A little more size on the back end and a sturdy center that can move up and down the lineup is my wish list. They should probably hold off on wingers as they have a couple of young studs in the cupboard for next season.
