This is not the same Canucks team as last year clearly at least some of the players actually care to win Garland, Brock and Sherwood. I don’t know what’s going on, but the Canucks gotta figure it out. This is not the same team I know like last year now we’re dealing with a lot of injuries and it hit us really hard to the core Now we’re playing Edmonton on Saturday and this is definitely a must win for us Demko isn’t looking like his true self yet Myers needs to go I don’t know why they keep scratching branstrom He’s like one of our best d men we have we went 0/5 on the power-play that’s no excuse we gotta be better and find answers as soon as possible especially with the new players, it’s a lot of different chemistry so hopefully they can figure it out eventually
I’m seeing shades of the late 90’s Canucks in this group when Messier wore the C and Keenan was behind the bench It’s like déjà vu all over again. Drama off the ice, the team couldn’t win a game and nobody looked like they even cared when they lost.
Something needs to change. This team looks unmotivated and lost.
The Canucks look like they are in a state of on-ice paralysis, and are waiting for their management group to do something.
Rutherford and Allvin don't have the luxury of waiting for teams to offer up a king's ransom for Miller or Pettersson.
Based on age difference, it's more likely they need to trade Miller, but they will also have to accept that they won't get back a big haul for him.
The clock is ticking on the Canucks' season, which is now quickly heading toward being another non-playoff appearance year.

Yesterday I suggested the Jets trade Josh Morrisey, Morgan Barron and Logan Stanley to the Canucks for Brock Boeser and Carson Soucy. Jets fans were angry, "JOSH MORRISEY IS THE BEST DEFENSEMAN IN THE NHL! HE'S UNTOUCHABLE!" and "BROCK & CARSON SUCK! THEY'RE NOT WORTH LOGAN STANLEY!"
Bet Canucks fans would like to see Morrisey in a Vancouver jersey and as a Jets fan myself I would like to have Boeser and a big guy like Soucy in a Winnipeg jersey. Nothing against Josh, I like him but Pionk is good enough, Jets have 4 lines that can score but are lacking on size and grit on the back end, letting too many shots on goal through. Brock's also a better 2-way player than the Jets current Top 6 forwards.
I think the Jets should get bigger on defense and shift Josh's points to the wing, Jets only have 1 RW on the roster and just 4 forwards who shoot right handed. The Canucks could use a second major offensive threat on the blueline far more than the Jets, Morrisey and Hughes paired together on the PP would give any goalie nightmares.
