On the blue line, I think Johansson has been good enough to stick in the everyday lineup. Gustafsson still makes bad plays, but I can live with him since he's now competent on the 2nd PP and bringing some offense. Now pick your poison : Petry or Holl. They are both atrocious. Stevie could shop for a RHD. There are better options than both Holl or Petry playing in the AHL for other organizations.
Honestly, I don't know if the PP comes down a bit. What makes it só scary is that the Wings appear to be better off an initial clearing by the opposition's PK, because they enter the zone with ease.
As someone, who followed the Hawks for a very long time, I never quite understood why Kane was so heralded for his PP play. In fact, he slowed things down and regularly turned his PP unit into one static desaster. This has completely changed. There is constant movement off the rush and cycling once entry is established. That's tough to stop.

Playing Florida is a lot like playing Ottawa (albeit Florida is more talented). They want to come out skate hard, play hard and physical and grind you out of your game on the forecheck. In the last game with Ottawa, Brady Tkachuk took a couple bad penalties early in the game and the Wings capitalized, which meant they had to be much more careful and couldn't play with as much edge. This happened again against Florida and really minimized how effective Matthew Tkachuk and Sam Bennett could be in their usual agitator roles.
Always the negative trollers. Take away the assists from Kane, and Albert J, and Panthers don't score 2 goals. Hussa had his chance. Give another system goalie a chance. Holl is not able to react quickly enough. There must be a better defenceman in the system or somewhere in the world? I think VT has upped his game, he makes the JB goal happen.

I watch the Panthers a lot, they’ve been struggling lately, but I did NOT expect our Power Play to savage them that badly… lol. There’s just so many options to score on the Wing’s PP, and they look so damn confident.
Talbot played out of his mind, and Kasper’s shot was an absolute dart. I didn’t knew Kasper had that good of a release. Huge win for the Wing, and Wings continue to roll.
