I know a lot of sabres fans aren’t gonna agree with me, but I think if we can get the #1 over all pick just one more time and get Shane Wright this year plus our other 2 first round picks, we COULD be disgusting next year with power, Quinn, krebs and peterka coming up, and obviously other great prospects since we have probably the best farm system in the league by far.
Congrats to Ken Holland on his induction to HOF! I said the year he was hired as Oilers Gm, that it would take an excellent GM 2-4 years to turn that near ruined ship around, and here we are only 2 years later, and the difference is just massive. Only one bad bad trade i hated all along (Moving Sam Gagner). Still work to be done, but there is every reason to believe Ken will make yet more excellent moves and improve this team further. I consider Ken to be the single most excellent management hire since… John Muckler in 1981. Congrats again Ken.
