This is what happens when you have some guy named Kyle from baseball as your GM, making decisions that a proven hockey-mind should be making. The guy is a complete idiot and we’ll be trash as long as he’s running the show. What has he done other than trade guys like Hagel, DeBrincat, Dach, Kane and the guys we’ve drafted are aging out in college while putting up no production at the college level 👍🏻

Seth Jones is the main reason this team is still in the cellar. Even though he receives lots of minutes, his defense has taken a huge step backwards. I'd love for them to trade him and even retain some of his salary to give the young players more ice time.
As a sharks fan i think our goaltending is a big factor in what kept us afloat so far with blackwood and askarov, but it also helps that celebrini is good at defending as well

Blackhawks are still in the laying the groundwork stage. As long as they reach .500 by 2027, they are in good shape. 2029 is the goal year of contention.
He is on the wrong team, Pittsburg should have traded Crosby, then tanked to get the number one pick, and select Bedard. He could have also refused to play for Chicago, until they changed their team name. Shame.
The Hawks need to do him a favor and let his showcase his unmatched skills on a real team not an AHL team portraying an NHL team.
He’ll be fine. Foligno is right it does suck that bedards first season and this one have gone horribly. But with these new guys (I’m not saying it’s enough not even close) I’ve seen some chem built. Bertuzzi and bedard play great. Teuvo has had some bright spots hall had a hat trick. Beat the Avs twice, have a better record against top 10 teams than bad teams.
Bedard is used to winning, so this will be hard for him. If we start winning this will all go away…… simple as that

Hawks didn't "fail" him. They were fortunate to win the lottery two months into their rebuild. The rebuild didn't even begin until they traded Kane. It takes years for prospects, especially defensemen (which the Hawks top prospects mostly is made up of) to develop.
I’ve said it before, the best thing about bedard being on a falling blackhawks, is that he will learn how to play with many different players and styles and if he keeps it up, he will become an even more polarizing player. On top of pure skill, he would also have insane adaptability to any line

Thank goodness that he is not a cry baby and soft….a franchise player is supposed to make those around him better and in that regard he is zero.
On the positive side it can't get any worse. Bedard is not without blame though even though he is the point leader. He's only 19 and still making a ton of mistakes.

Yeah I don't know what's going on with the Blackhawks but clearly they need to rexamine what their doing cause it's not clicking. I'm a ducks fan but I also do love the Blackhawks so it's a bit of a bummer to see them so disorgnized.
I never heard anyone say Bedard is a bad player, that's news to me, but I guess I shouldn't be surprised, sports fans can be pretty dumb.
