  1. so JT is getting traded now (soon) ….and EP40 after the season (possible ) . Boeser is gone . Demko is unhappy . yikes ….what happened .

  2. If you wonder why you don’t get Canuck guests:
Maybe it’s because your producer is actively suggesting the Canucks food poisoned the media?

  3. I have been hearing Elliot repeating the same BS Yadda-Yadda for several weeks now about Miller and Petterson. Elliot is just a big gossiper who only has rumours and innuendo. He uses the same tired old terms over and over. He really knows nothing serious at all. And when he starts saying the same whitewash BS Yadda-Yadda about Petterson's "talent and ability" "Yes he has to play better" BLAH BLAH BLAH. The real truth about Petterson right now is that — which Elliot cannot say or he'll get blacklisted — is that Petterson's performance since he got his huge new contract SUCKS. His goals/assists stats are terrible and he is down to #124 in the league. Loyal Canucks fans deserve a lot better and we aren't getting it from the #5 Highest Paid Player in the NHL.

  4. Us long-suffering Canucks fans who watch every game and have been doing so for years hate it when we are being fed BS whitewash from guys like Elliot Friedman. We understand that he's just a Toronto Talking Head who has to feed us BS because he can's speak the real truth. The real truth about Vancouver Canucks — Quinn Hughes is carrying this team on his back, JT Miller is an extremely valuable player any team would love to have and who Canucks should keep, and Elias Petterson is an over-rated, over-paid, boat anchor that the other players have to drag around with them. And we all have to pretend is "soon going to turn it around". Until Petey starts living up to the huge expectations and gets up in the Top 10-20 goals/assists, the Canucks are going nowhere. Trading JT Miller for new guys will not help the situation.

  5. Elliottte seems to be speculating a lot instead of relying on solid info. I'm inclined to believe him less and less.

  6. You guys REALLY need to stop having this guy on your show. His credibility has sunk to an all time low in recent times. He's a good tv personality, but a supposed number 1 insider – pfftt. Nope. Rumour, speculation, bs, false stories, shit stirring, "I think".

do yourselves and us, the public, a favor and book other guests.

  7. BS. All this stuff is rumours. Rumours are for teenagers, old lady sewing circles and sports commentators who need hits and likes. FO

  8. I don't know what the deal is with Miller, but if the Canucks are shopping him, you would think that their season goal of making the playoffs is done, and they should be looking at other restructuring trades. Petterson's contract is going to keep him in Vancouver, until he figures it out, or they buy him out. I'd like to see them deal Lankinen and Boeser before losing them for nothing at the end of the season. If they can't sign Suter, then move him for something too. Branstrom and Karlsson are a couple of interesting Depth Pieces that might attract some attention? And there HAS to be a playoff bound team that would be willing to give up more than they should to add Sherwood to their playoff roster.
The Canucks could take a step back next season, bring up 4 or 5 players from Abbotsford and get into the Free agent pool for the rest of what they need. And what they need is to build a line around Pettersson that Fires him up, and gets him back on top of the offensive stats.
The team can't keep doing the same thing over and over, making the same mistakes, and expect a better result.

  9. NJ is less likely because the money wont work. However, if Brock is in play Van can retain on him and NJ can move out a 4 mil contract much easier than 8 mil. (mercer)
Theoretical moves if teams are interested would be Brock (retained) Suter and Klimovich for Mercer and Nemic.
Then Van can deal with NYR without demanding a D which might be the NYR holdup. so maybe Miller and Forbort (free add) for Laferniere and Othmann.

If Van is selling that is. If Van is buying then I still believe the target would be Chicago for Murphy and either Hall in the same deal or with Buffalo and Zucker in a different deal after Murphy.

  10. If they trade JT I’m done with this team. Not resigning Zadorov and now this bullshit

  11. Trade the player who no-shows for the Buffalo game Tuesday. Both if necessary.

  12. As a NY Rangers fan, I hope we get JT back but he's not worth much more than a third line player or perhaps a player that might not be resigned next year. I would even hate to see Jimmy Vessey go…

  13. Garland thing is embarrassing

What kind of a joke of a team has to resort to that shite

One that can’t defend is what

Hope the Oilers go midget tossing on Thursday

  14. Willing to bet JT wants out and that’s not going to change, just the right situation and he’s gone.

  15. Trading JT will be a HUGE mistake. Unless you get a MASSIVE HAUL, you keep him.
Miller's NMC will dictate the fate of his future

  16. Pettersson is still one of the better players on the roster. Best faceoff guy, and great defensive presence. One of the best passers. I think with Miller gone it will help for him. His 200ft game is way better than Millers always has been. see miller coasting on pretty well every "backcheck"

  17. blah blah blah friedman lies and then makes excuses. Fire Tocchett!
