  1. I love both players and would love it if they stayed in O&B. That said, if there's an offer that gives us a good deal on them, i wouldn't hesitate to make a trade. Danny better be actively working to try to trade anyone and everyone on the roster not named Michkov.

  2. They both have a lot of value in Philadelphia. Risto, like Danny said is a tough right shot big man, top 4 defenceman. Many teams would love to have him. Laughton all around of and on the ice is a main stay for the Flyers. I believe if they are moved, one or the other, the return must make complete sense in upgrading the Flyers. Either now, or in the near future. These 2 guys will leave a void in the Flyers line up. So I would expect a hockey trade where both teams benefit. They also could be packaged in deals that has draft pick(s) and another player to get a high end Center that would be in the Flyers organization for years to come.

  3. Would rather see them trade just about any other defenseman. Not Risto. Get rid of Sanheim, Drysdale or York before Risto. Actually, I know it makes sense to trade him but I think he is their best dman and I don't think it is even close. Laughton can go but don't see they have too many untouchable forwards beyond Konecny, Michkov, Tippett and now Cates… I would trade any of the rest of them even though Brink is one of my favorite Flyers. I've really soured on Couts…hate to say it but I think his time has come and gone, but his contract is one of the worst in hockey. Watching them lose to the lowly Islanders tonight and Couts often falls down or gets knocked to the ice and flails his stick around wildly with one hand. Briere has one huge challenge on his hands.

  4. Flyers have been an average or slightly below average team for so many years. If the Flyers are serious about rebuilding, then they need to move many of the veterans for younger players or draft picks. Risto is playing the best I've seen but he will be well past his prime by the time the Flyers if/when they improve. So, I believe it is time to move on from Risto, Laughton, Coots, Hathaway, etc. I would also consider trading Farabee, Frost, Drysdale and perhaps Kolosov or Fedotov. One more thing…dump Torts. He already has Michkov's head screwed up.

  5. No, neither will be moved unfortunately.
Too much culture bullshit with Laughton, and that's exactly what it is, bullshit.
He should have been traded two years ago.

  6. Risto to Peg in a deal for Lambert makes a lot of sense. That is if the Flyers believe lambert can stick at C. Regarding Laughton, Flyers are expecting an overpay and I personally wouldn’t take less than a 1st and neither will they or should they. He will get at least a 2nd + at next year’s trade line so 2 playoff runs should be worth at least a 1st or a decent C prospect. Trading Risto now might require they take back a bad contract with term. I would resist any term coming back that is more than 1 year
