To be honest, I don't give a damn about what is said about Cronin. He does have a point that different people take things differently. It is in the end always like that when you are working with people. The thing for what he should be fired is that the team isn't good enough under him and underperforming. All the other things are secondary. I think he is very similar to Tortorella coaching style, but Tortorella gets hired again and again, because he has a good track record, while Cronin works well in the AHL, but is terrible at the NHL level.
LaCombe is going to be a star and he has not regressed. I thought Minty would have improved this year based on what he did last season and he hasn't look noticeable this season. The age difference should not be a factor in evaluating them. I see more improvement from LaCombe going forward and I don't think he is a flash in the pan.
