He’s great! He’s a D who actually plays out his role by blocking shots and clearing the zone. Unlike another D on his bench lol, his current impeccable (and team leading) +18 is indicative of his responsible D play.
I personally could care less if Ds score goals. Especially with the Buds’ scoring power they’re playing with.
Tanev is most definitely a welcomed edition to their bench, and I’m looking forward to watching him continue his strong D play come the playoffs.

Just gotta take the C off his sweater and give it to Nylander. Matthews crumples under pressure, whereas Nylander excels and becomes a leader. Take the pressure off of the Rocket Richard winner, and let him relax, get in the zone, and score.
