Management did a horrible job of building the D core. The coach has done a horrible job of not adapting or changing his coaching style to the players in the system.
Last year the team could play the system because they had a D core that could sustain it. Tocchet also has taken any creativity out of the offense. He ruined Kuzmenko and now Hoglander. The constant change in line ups has lead to a lack of chemistry.
Last year the team was 3 deep at the Center position and also had career years from many of their players. This year the production is down along with a lack of toughness and grit.
The management needs to take accountability for the failure to be aggressive unlike last year. This year they think airing the problems is the solution instead of fixing them.
This team has more issues than Sports Illustrated.
No wonder Vancouver fans get such a bad rap. Just finished piecing together three wins, occupying the final playoff position and here you guys are sitting around bitching and moaning about the season. Just relax cheer for your team and stop contributing to the drama.

That even with a three-game win streak the Canucks still find themselves out of a playoff spot is a consequence of so many issues that this season have hurt the Canucks, and I look forward to replying to various comments in the coming hours and days.
Jim said there's no solution. You have to move them both because the locker room will be divided so if you trade one and keep the other some players will not be happy and there will still be tension. He also said they will not get a top line center back and will be taking a step or 2 back and didn't rule out Quinn wanting to leave if they don't turn it around fast enough. This is really bad , they really screwed this up because they knew this was a possibility

Its not management's issue players have hissy fits. These are grown men making tons of cash freken learn to work with your coworkers. Cody Hodson came in as a jerk and left the NHL as a jerk just as fast. Its on the players not management
I am OK with management, the Canucks are younger and faster with these trades, give the team time to gel. Solve the Petie issue, maybe get a power forward next.
I think Petey will be traded if he does not improve.
