Les huées ont commencé dès que la chanteuse d’Anthem Agasha Mutesasira a commencé à chanter l’hymne avant la baisse de la rondelle entre les Red Wings de Detroit et les Canucks de Vancouver. Il a continué tout au long de la chanson – parfois plus fort que les autres – et n’a pas diminué avant la fin, quand il semblait que les fans applaudissaient le chanteur, pas la chanson.
