    If Rob Ray was on this current roster, this wouldn't have ended differently. Which guys wanted to go after him? All I saw was a bunch players skating around his corpse. I love the Sabres (and Ruff), but this is why they have less than 1% (0.6%) to make the playoffs.

    You played Glibert, knowing NJ was a tough team, but you didn't want to set him free to go after someone? This isn't the old Lindy I know. You are sending the wrong message to the NHL. No costs to pay for a cheep shot on your best player. Now you put a target on EVERY skills player on the team.

    I was at the game. Great 1st period Bflo. Meh 2nd, and then the 3rd….After the hit on Thompson with ZERO reaction on the ice, then the quick shortie, the air was sucked out of the building. Somehow they did not collapse and lose, but I'd take the loss if they had had a proper reaction to the Noesen hit. Does Bflo need the 2 points – not really. The team needs to be tough to play against and they are not. That 3rd was real embarrasing, and I felt like puking up my nasty popcorn.

    Are the Red Wings fan myself, Sabre fans may not want to hear this but I believe it's time to move on from Lindy Ruff.. a new voice with a new style and system in place may be exactly what this team needs going forward.. I mean this guy coached Dominik Hasek for crying out loud over TWO DECADES AGO!!.. but hey, if Sabre fans are satisfied with this Twilight Zone spiral than so be it..

    I just don't see why they're afraid to move on from him.. he's not the answer.. he's outta touch and outdated with the new game and new era of players

    Who cares about wins? We aren't making the playoffs you need to build character they take our top guy out you take their top guy out. Go knock hughs out of the game
