Vegas is in free fall. They need to trade off their dead weight forwards who can’t make a pass, make a goal, crash the net, receive a pass, win a face off or get a puck on net. They could also use a goalie like the Islanders had in net tonight. The kind of goaltender that gets your team the extra 1 or 2 saves a game when your team is not scoring.
Sorokin has been standing on his head this last month and the Islanders have been needing it

1. Barzal is overrated. I watch every Isles game. He holds the puck too long, stalls the offense and they move it better without him.
And Barzal doesnt even use his speed in the game. Dude is .01 seconds slower than McDavid (in the skills comp) but does it appear that way in game play? McDavid looks fast as hell….does Barzal?
2. Horvatt is typically the best Islander on the ice each game. Great 2 way player, sickkkk shot and has speed that he actually uses.
