  1. The Canucks traded J.T. Miller, Danton Heinen, Vincent Desharnais for Filip Chytil, Victor Mancini, Marcus Pettersson and Drew O'Connor 🤔…😃👍

  2. Can anyone tell me the difference between. Current cap space – 7,000,000m -projected cap space. 2,600,000m – and deadline cap space 12,100,000m on puck pedia

  3. I like it, fair price . 5 years would have been better, but he will be good at the price for at least 4 more years

  4. Petersson looks like a good character guy, someone who can turn the locker room culture around

  5. Sounds like a good deal. The resume he has with us is small, but so far it looks like he's fitting in well, and improving the overall defense.

  6. Could they have got a better dman for that NY first pick? Perhaps. Could they have signed them long term before a cap raises when young stars ares going to cash in? Doubt it.
He's the perfect guy to be the 2nd behind Hughes. He's faster than I thought and extremely poised. Good guy in the locker room.

  7. I wanted 73 gone DONE, I wanted to see the defense improved DONE and O'Connor for Heinan works for me. I like this trade and contract on multiple levels.

  8. Small sample size but he seems like a good player and a great person. Canucks management continues to make good moves. The Miller situation could have been really bad for the Canucks but they pulled a great recovery move and got a player that we wanted and needed. We got younger, liberated cap space, and got a big skilled D that we really needed. It sucks to lose Miller in the short term but he was gone already and we still managed to improve the team in the long run. Go Canucks Go!

  9. What a smooth contract with a pending UFA. Not sure if it's new Petey's relationship with Rutherford/Tocchet but man this is a lot of confidence shown on both sides.

  10. Great number, great term. Based on the 3 games he's played with the Canucks he's been a stable presence on the blue line. Now we have stability for the next few years

  11. Hopefully this deal bolsters Quinn Hughes' confidence in the team and he doesn't go elsewhere. The elephant in the room is still EP40s lack of production. I say if he can't turn it around, he'll be gone by next year.

  12. This signing just makes me feel better about losing Big Z in the offseason…..but I am so glad they didn't sign big Z to the big money……..
" MP3" 😅 that my nickname for him Marcus Petterson number 3 ….so glad the Defense core is getting stronger….for me Forbert and Juulesen are not cutting it for me …..

  13. Management could have just offered this to Zadorov. Maybe Canucks play better as a result and team still has Miller

  14. I doubt Hughes or Demko gets resigned now.. since crybaby gets 11.6 a year and is playing like a 3.6 player, should have been Petey gone not Miller..

  15. Hughes/Hronek/MP3. Thats a good top 3 D unit. Last game Canucks won 3-0 against the Avalanche and the 3 top players involved in the JT Miller trade MP3/ Chytil/O'Conner played a combined 54 min of ice time. Considering how backed into a corner the Canucks were The JT Miller trade looks good like Drance says and the NYR took all of JT Millers contract.
