In a world of uninspired boilerplate sports commentary, Sawyer's analysis of the Carolina game is real insight to what happened.
I am constantly impressed by how well-spoken and intelligent retired tough-guys are. Bieksa, Gazdic, and our guy Kevin. He fought Probert. Lots more of course.
Andrew….thank you for bringing that up. The Jets have been underachieving for years now and very good coaches havent been able to make these players seem to care. It feels like this year they really are going to try. If they do, well, this is what we have been missing and I am loving it
When Kevin Sawyer wrapped up his interview with KC after a first period hat trick, he said by the way, dont know if you knew this but it took you six minutes and ? Seconds to do what it took me (I think it was) 103 games to do…Connor laughed and so did I

Back on December 10th I started doing 20 push ups for every goal the Jets score…..I'm expecting to breach 2k push ups after tonight's game against the Islanders. The Jets are animals around the net!
