todd mclellan putting a fully functional and dominant Patrick Kane on the 3rd line w Soderblom and Rasmussen is a coaching master class. Kane's xGF% at 5v5 today was 79% to lead the team despite horrible linemates. his overall xGF% was 88%, leading the team by a lot. what an incredible terrible decision.
difference in the game is Tampa has a hall of fame championship winning head coach, so their Kane style player is always on the top line w elite talent. turns out that works way better than burying a special talent bc he doesn't backcheck hard enough for your liking.
