  1. Miller and Chytil both traded to Canucks as 25yr old, big body 3c's with upside. Both 1st round picks by Rangers. JT 2.0? Just sayin.

  2. Petterson is regaining his form after training with fellow Swedes and some new coaching. I believe it could help him return to his old self!

  3. The best teams typically build from the goalie out with strong defence. Colorado didn't need great goaltending, but they had Makar and others, as well as MacKinnon and Rantanen up front. The Canucks are now becoming that kind of team, slowly. There's still work to do, but imagine that blue line when Mancini and Willander are played significant minutes. It's going to be stacked. Now they just have to figure out what to do about Boeser and another top 6 winger/centre, depending on where they see Chytil playing. I think if he stays healthy, he's a keeper. Crosby had a series of concussions and was out for a while. It looked like he wouldn't ever play again. that was over a decade ago. He's still one of the best players in the game. Chytil is big, young and fast. He's also one of the few guys other than Hughes who likes carrying the puck up ice with speed. They need to get away a bit from the dump and chase stuff. They need to really back defences up. Boeser has been great for the Canucks, but he's not very fast. if they can replace him with some speed, that really helps.

  4. We've given up a singularly exceptional player like JT Miller, but have become a deeper team with better defense. Willander is coming soon. I'm still positive about Lekkerimaki becoming a regular solid top 6. Heck, Bains is second in Abbotsford Canucks team scoring and think he can also become a solid bottom 6 player. We're not looking bad.

  5. If we are going to the playoffs please keep Soucy. we need depth at this position. Boeser is slow but he can finish, we need to think about that. Our biggest problem has been goal production. Just sayin.

  6. If we can get some elite scoring we should be just fine. Defensive depth is good, goaltending is decent. Just need to score.

  7. I sure hope they don't trade Boesser. He took a team friendly deal , has been consitant and character for days . I'd rather overpay by a little to a guy like him than take a risk on others .

  8. where are the armchair GM now slamming their "incompetence" when they have never been involved in pro hockey level

  9. Cozens would look great in a Canucks jersey. Don't want to give up Soucy though. We need to keep D depth. I don't know how they make it happen but Allvin is a wizard. GCG!

  10. Pageau comes to mind for a mid tier target. Right handed centerman, can play PP2 and top penalty killing minutes. Probably could be had for a mid tier return.

  11. Imagine saying, "If Petterson finds his game" for over a previous playoff series and half the following season at 11 Million per year?
