I think we need to be realistic here. This is the second time Thatcher has been injured since an incredibly long rehab. Every time he plays more than 2 games in a row something seems to go wrong. There's no way he'll agree to resign for 5 million and there is no way we can afford to pay him more since he is made of porcelain. Not only that but the longer they wait on this the more his trade value is going to drop. Trade him with Boeser and Soucy. The combo might net you a #1 centre. Then trade Pettersson to Islanders for Dobson.
Kempner we need Thatchner! I want him to retire a Canuck 😔
If we forget what he's earning and only play him once every four games he might be alright.
Goaltending for the Canucks has this season been suspect beyond Kevin Lankinen, with:
– Demko having been out multiple times from last April due to injury issues
– Šilovs having played so badly that he joined Cayden Primeau in the AHL, with Primeau playing for the Laval Rocket, the Habs relevant affiliate
Put it this way. He has looked good last little bit. Say keep him till end of season and resign Lanks.

Nothing wrong with Demko that we do not see in other players in the NHL. So he is injury-prone. Not like its a concussion! Demko is fine… don't dwell on something beyond control… Demko will be amazing when he is able to play!
