Nice conversation, but Bowman does not inspire confidence. Slow as molasses. Should have had the wherewithal to sign Holloway. Not very trusting of his analytical skills, nor the speed at which he moves. In the musical chairs of getting a key element for the run, Bowman will always be the last man standing. He was rumoured to be in on Pettersson and O'Connor in Pittsburgh, but it seems like Stan is "always in" on things. But much like our offensive players in the O-zone, Stan just runs circles on the periphery where the $1-$2M contracts may be found. Holland was far superior. Far far superior.Jackson better be able eat some humility pie when we exit first or second round for not taking decisive action in goal and on defence. Take a look around….LA got better with Kemper (and did well without Doughty most of the season); Demko is back in Vancouver; Blackwood plays well behind a tough and speedy Colorado defence. If Bowman had half an iota of a brain cell, he would realize that we need to not only be tougher, but we need defence to compensate for our weak goaltending. Should have moved heaven and earth by now to sign Eleksiak and Soucy. The guy is a has been riding on the laurels of the old Blackhawks. Nothing more.
