There is something to say about doing another fire sale 2 years in a row with core pieces when room morale is as high as it is now. You want Zary, you Want Coronado, you want Wolf but if you sell off the team again maybe they all say F this I’m going somewhere else this is gonna be TERRIBLE here. Andersson I would move but I would move at the draft as a piece to try and trade up at the deadline is Andersson and one of our 1st enough to get us a top 10 pick from a team that doesn’t need more 1st round picks and instead need roster players

I wouldn't go over 7.5 per for 6 years. If that's not good enough get the best possible offer and move him sooner rather than later. I don't want to move him personally. I think Conroy will make the right decision.

Why is this hard to understand Huberdeau is overpaid you don't want to add another 1-2 more overpaid players or you won't bee able to put a winner on the ice.
So you don't want to disappoint Wolfe so you stay in the middle…no Wolfe would see the plan as well as anyone you trade Kadri and Anderson and Coleman tank hard get some good picks and then you have a shot at it. Never guaranteed but you have a chance if you hit on the low picks. You don't even need a generational player. But picking 16th isn't going to cut it.

If Calgary was to trade Anderson, I would try to get Tj out of Utah, who are trying to get Ito the playoffs………..win for both teams….
It would be a FAR bigger mistake for Conroy to extend Rasmus Andersson, than to let him walk for free.
